It’s back to school time for students, and that means having good food to eat before, during, and after school to make sure their brains are ready to learn.
The FitChic, Annie Mello from CPMFITness, shared some recipes for healthy and tasty snack ideas.
- handful of strawberries
- 1-2 scoops protein whey powder
- half can of coconut milk
- half cup Greek yogurt
- handful of ice
Blend well and eat as a breakfast or snack to prepare for after-school sports.
- cucumber slices
- chicken salad or egg salad, prepared
Spread hummus on cucumber rounds and top with chicken or egg salad. Eat as a sandwich or topless.
Chocolate Protein Balls
- chocolate protein powder
- mini chocolate chips
