This Saturday at the Sioux Falls Multi-Cultural Center, the second annual International Chef Cook-Off pins over a dozen Sioux-lebrities against each other in friendly competition to see who can whip up the best dish. KDLT’s very own Kelsie Passolt will be serving up a recipe too.
Roxie Kelly, the assistant director at the Multi-Cultural Center in Sioux Falls, says last year's inaugural Cook-Off was a huge success with 15 local celebrities competing for voters' choice. This year, Kelly says there will be 16 competitors whipping up dishes from thai chicken balls to venison chili.
Kelly says the money raised from the night will go to help the MCC programs in the community. She says they have 19 different programs from after-school programs, job skills programs, reading and math programs, self-defense and more.
The International Chef Cook-Off is Saturday, December 3 at the Coliseum in Sioux Falls starting at 5 p.m. Ticket information can be found here.
