| Mark Ovenden
sports |

Mark has been in sports casting since 1976 where he began
his career as weekend sports anchor at WTVR in Richmond,
VA.The Boston native always wanted to be a sportscaster
since driving friends crazy by doing play by play of almost
every game he played in as a kid! "The love of sports and
gift for gab made this a natural!" Ovenden is a father of
three very active boys which has made the job of sports
reporting interesting now that they are into college sports.
He hopes you'll forgive him if a little favoritism shows
through on occasion. Mark loves to go to games with his
sons, golf and occasionally hunt and fish, although he isn't
much of a threat in those two areas. "It's the camaraderie
that I enjoy most! "Mark loves his job. "I'm lucky to be
doing something I truly enjoy. The day it isn't fun, is when
I'll hang up the mike for good. As a competitor, you like to
see the fruits of your labor. That seems to be a common
feeling at KDLT, which is why it has been so enjoyable. The
drive to win is no different than when you're involved in
athletics." Ovenden hopes to coach youth baseball again some
day. |

| Seth Oeltjenbruns |
A few years ago, you might
have seen this unpronounceable name right here!!! And after
spending those years working in a few different places near
and far, Seth (much like the prodigal son) has returned.
Seth began his career in television while still attending
college at Minnesota State University-Moorhead. He graduated
in 2002 with a B.S. in Mass Communications, with a focus on
broadcast journalism. Shortly thereafter Seth made the trek
down I-29 and settled in Sioux Falls-- a move that put him
closer to his hometown of Marshall, MN.
Seth originally began as a production assistant at KDLT in
January of 2004, and after a few months was promoted to
photographer. After leaving in late 2005 for California,
Seth returned to the Midwest a little over a year later. In
November 2007 Seth came full circle and returned to KDLT as
Chief Photographer.
In his spare time, Seth likes to take naps and watch or play
a multitude of sports. |
