EmBe, an organization in Sioux Falls is working to get girls excited about career options in math and science fields.

Girl's Maker Day, is an event geared towards girls ages 8 to 14 to gain their interest in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math).

Different vendors from across the state will put on different displays to teach girls about their options in career fields where women are typically under represented.

The event is Saturday, Oct. 15 at EmBe and is free. For more information visit their website.
