SALEM, S.D. -

The suspect in the burglary of a drug store in Salem has pleaded guilty to two charges.

Twenty-six-year-old Kyle Hurden was accused of breaking into the Salem Community Drug Store on June 21, smashing through a glass door and stealing prescription drugs.

He pleaded guilty this week to third-degree burglary and misrepresentation to obtain a controlled substance. Theft and drug possession charges were dismissed.

Hurden faces up to 15 years in prison and $30,000 in fines when he's sentenced in October.
