DAVIS, S.D. -

Three were injured when a pickup collided with a tractor two miles East of Davis at around 6 p.m. Wednesday evening.

It all happened when a tractor and loader were headed eastbound when pickup collided with the rear of tractor.

The 67-year-old tractor driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. He was not wearing a seatbelt.

The 66-year-old pickup driver was transported to the hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries while the 72-year-old passenger was airlifted with life-threatening injuries. Both pickup occupants were wearing seatbelts.

The crash is under investigation.
