LAKE ANDES, S.D. -

At Andes Central schools, teachers getting ready for the new year did more than just stock their classrooms with school supplies.

They also refreshed themselves on warning signs of meth abuse - as well as the policies they're supposed to follow when they see them.

Principal Rocky Brinkman says the school is committed to meeting the meth problem head-on.

The district is adding group counseling this year for students who are dealing with their own drug issues or those of a loved one.
