A 21-year-old man has been arrested after hitting another man with his car.
According to Sergeant Tarah Walton, Sioux Falls Police responded to a call in the 900 block of North Duluth Avenue after a report that a vehicle struck a pedestrian.
Authorities say Elvis Husic walked into a home of a 22-year-old man without permission where they began to fight. The fight made its way out of the house and into the street. A woman was punched by Husic when attempting to break up the fight.
Authorities say that Husic then got into his 2008 Honda Civic and intentionally hit the man with his car. The man was transported to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Husic and the man shared a mutual friend, but did not know each other directly.
Husic has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault domestic, intentional damage to property and first-degree burglary.
