SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -

Police are investigating after a Sioux Falls casino was robbed at gunpoint Thursday morning.

Police say a man entered the Golden Coin Casino on W. Russell Street in Sioux Falls around 9:45 a.m. and demanded money from the clerk. They say the suspect was armed with a long barreled handgun, but the clerk was uninjured in the incident.

They say he left the casino with the cash, running south. Witnesses in the area say they then saw a purple or maroon PT Cruiser leaving at a high rate of speed.

The suspect is described as a white male with a tall and slender build. Police say he was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, black boots, a navy colored bandana over his face and gloves.

The Golden Coin experienced an armed robbery just last month when a man entered the casino with a handgun and demanded cash. No one was injured in the incident.

Police continue to investigate both incidents.
