SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -

It was 'move in' day at Augustana University.

Freshman and their parents carried in their bedding, fans, TVs and decorations to the room they'll be staying in all year.

But they weren't alone.

Upperclassmen were helping the class of 2020 get settled into both Bergsaker and Solber Halls.

"I wanted to come out here so we could meet all the new freshman, see all the new faces coming into campus and just seeing the excitement of them moving in and seeing Augie,” says Augie junior Travis Huber.

“Being a freshman last year, I had such a great experience my freshman year, so I wanted to come help out and live the whole experience again,” adds sophomore Elizabeth Wehrkamp.

More than 50 Viking guides helped out the freshman and their parents this weekend.
