SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -

For those visiting Falls Park this weekend, the rain has made for an even more captivating sight.

Thursday’s storm has the Falls flowing more water than usual, giving visitors a special show.

But Sioux Falls Fire and Rescue is warning visitors to use caution when getting close to the fast-moving water.  One out-of-town family is taking this advice, sticking to the park's paths and keeping a safe distance from the Falls.

“Well with her, we didn't get out on the rocks, but yeah we stayed on the pathway and out on one of the observation areas where it kind of jutted you out,” says Mary and Emily Grove, who visited the Falls for the first time Friday.

Sioux Falls Fire and Rescue says to stay safe at the Falls, avoid slippery and jagged rocks, use sidewalks and keep children close.
