SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -

Police are looking for the driver who crashed a vehicle into the parking lot of the Law Enforcement Center in downtown Sioux Falls.

Police say someone at the Good Samaritan Society reported the crash. The driver of the white Chevy Impala was traveling south on Minnesota Avenue at around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police say the car left the roadway, went through the fence, and down several levels of the retaining wall. When the car came to rest, it damaged some snow plows sitting at the bottom of the hill. The driver took off running, but police say they have an idea of who it might be.

Police say alcohol was found inside the vehicle.
