A West Central teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with a student has been indicted on 21 felony counts.

A Minnehaha County grand jury indicted 29-year-old Kari Boll on Wednesday. Boll is facing nine counts of fourth degree rape, nine counts of sexual contact with a child under 16, two counts of sexual exploitation and one count of solicitation of a minor.

Authorities say Boll was sexually involved with a 15-year-old student. Investigators say Boll was the teen's teacher, but in a tutoring-type roll.

An affidavit says at one point, Boll wanted to hold off on sexual contact until after the student turned 16.

Boll worked as a special education teacher at West Central for the last three years.
She resigned last month.
