SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -

We expected an aerial assault last night with quarterbacks Luke Papilion and Blake Gimbel leading Sioux Falls and SMSU.

Instead the Coo running game, offensive line and defense stole the show.

USF ran all over the Mustangs, racking up 428 rushing yards.  Papilion, Justin Fulks and Max Mickey all went over 100 yards on the ground, and the Cougars improved to an NSIC best 6-0 with a 48-28 win.

The Cougar defense also stepped up late with an interception and several stops.

USF visits Winona State next Saturday at 2:30.
