SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -

The preseason NSIC football coaches poll picked Sioux Falls to finish 4th in the conference.

They should have known better than to doubt USF's remarkable senior class.

Their career's ended yesterday with a rare heartbreaker.  The Coo fell in overtime 27-24 to Harding in the 2nd round of the Division Two playoffs.

It's the first and only loss of a remarkable 12-1 season that saw the Cougars capture their first ever NSIC Championship,

26 seniors, including record setting quarterback Luke Papilion, played their final game at Bob Young Field.  Finishing out a four year run in which Sioux Falls went 38-and-10 with three postseason appearances.
