The University of Sioux Falls Cougars (5-0, 5-0) defeated the Augustana Vikings (3-2, 3-2), 35-20 on Saturday to win the "Key to the City" Rivalry game.
The Cougars went up 21-0 in the 2nd quarter.
A 13-point 2nd quarter by the Vikings narrows the gap at halftime to 21-13.
Sioux Falls went on to outscore the Vikings 14-7 in the second half to win back "The Key."
USF finished with 562 total offensive yards on a balanced attack.
280 yards came through the air for the cougars and the other 282 came on the ground.
USF Quarterback Luke Papilion finished 22-30 for 280 yards and 2 touchdowns while also tallying 46 yards on 13 carries for a touchdown.
Running Back Max Mickey finished with 20 rushes for 150 yards and two touchdowns.
Augustana Quarterback Trey Heid led the Vikings through the air and on the ground.
He finished 24-44 with 293 yards and two touchdowns and two interceptions.
He also finished with 17 carries for 74 yards.
The Vikings go on the road next week to take on Wayne State on Saturday at 1 p.m.
The Cougars will host Southwest Minnesota State next Saturday for Homecoming at 6 p.m.
