Good morning Sioux Empire! Happy Wednesday during this Thanksgiving week. Hard to believe that the holiday is already tomorrow. We had a pretty chilly day yesterday and we are going to have a cold start to the morning today as well. High pressure that brought in those cooler temperatures is going to be exiting today but those cool temps will be hanging around. Especially for those of us along and East of I-29. The Missouri River Valley is going to warm up nicely today with somewhat breezy southerly winds. Seems pretty typical we warm up in central South Dakota. Those of us there will also see some clearing while those of East will see some lingering cloud cover. Overall no precipitation and we will see quiet skies.

For Thanksgiving we are looking to have some nice conditions. We will see partly cloudy skies and temperatures will range from the upper 40's to the low 60's across the area. Going to be a great day to spend with family and head outside for some football or whatever it is you and your family love to do! I don't think we could ask for a much better Thanksgiving.

Black Friday looks like we are going to be even warmer than Thanksgiving. Getting into this time of the year and talking about the 60's is pretty rare but here we are two days in row some of us will see it. Temperatures are looking to stay above average until at least the beginning of next week. Tuesday and Wednesday of next week there is a low pressure system that we will be watching that could bring snow to the area. 7 days out so its worth a mention and nothing more. No systems have panned out thus far across the Sioux Empire anyway.

Hopefully everyone has one great last day before Thanksgiving and hopefully spending time with family.
