A much quieter morning out there today and we sure needed it after yesterday!  Yesterday, we really could have used the nice weather we are going to see the next few days. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the Eclipse through the cloud cover and thunderstorms we had yesterday. We saw a lot of flooding rain across the viewing area yesterday as well but that won't be the case today - or even over the next few days. We have high pressure over the area and that means very comfortable conditions over the next few days. We'll see temperatures in the low to mid 70s across the east and in the low 80s to the west. The good news is the humidity will be low as well over the next few days.
We'll stay dry through Wednesday with plenty of sunshine! Temperatures will rise into the low 80s tomorrow with southerly winds. there's a chance for some isolated showers or storms to the South until Wednesday night but it doesn't look like it will be anything heavy.
We won't see any rain on Thursday with temperatures in the upper 70s and partly cloudy skies.  However, rain will return to the forecast Thursday night and linger into Friday as our next system rolls through the region. Temperatures will remain below normal too. Saturday looks like it could be wet with showers and thunderstorms possible and the cool temperatures will stick around. We won't see much fluctuation in the temperatures this week as I don't expect any strong systems to move through. Have a great day everyone!
