It was gorgeous day out there today with lots of sunshine and highs in the low 70s.  We'll remain near average for temperatures tonight as we drop into the low 50s with increasing clouds.  Unfortunately, the nice weather we had today will change tomorrow as we have a cold front moving through that will bring our temperatures down into the upper 60s.  It will  also be cloudy with isolated showers.  The best chance for rain will be to the southeast.  Higher temperatures will be out to the west with clearing and mostly sunny skies by the end of the day.  This means 70s return for the areas to the west as well.

The good news is the nice weather will return Sunday with sunshine and low 70s.  It will be breezy though with winds out of the northwest gusting to 30mph.  A weak system will miss most of us to the north on Memorial Day but will bring slightly cooler temperatures with highs in the upper 60s.  If you are grilling out of Monday for the holiday, you will probably want some sort of paperweight because it will be breezy with winds gusting to 25mph out of the northeast.  Isolated showers are possible for the northeastern portions of the viewing area.  Lows will be in the mid-to-upper 40s throughout Monday night and until the end of the week.

High pressure will build  in throughout the week and it looks to stay for a while.  This week will be much drier than the past couple of weeks with lots of sunshine.  High temperatures will remain near normal with temperatures in the low-to-mid 70s throughout the week.  By next Friday and next weekend, a lot of us will be soaring into the 80s so the heat looks to return soon.  Have a great Memorial Day Weekend everyone!
