Knutson leads Deubrook tos 1st state football title

Ryan Knutson rushed for 259 yards and 2 TD's (244 in the 1st half) as the Deubrook Dolphins raced to a 25-6 half-time lead and hung on for a thrilling 25-22 win over a Howard team that scored with 2:00 left to make it close. Luke Loudenberg rushed for 134 yards and Evan Donahue 2 TD's for the Tigers who beat top-ranked Kimball/WL in the playoffs and barely lost to Canistota (20-16) in the season opener. Deubrook finished the season with a perfect record for it's first state football championship. Knutson had TD runs of 64 and 62 yards in the first half and a 45-yard burst that set up the 3rd touchdown.
