With ski season just around the corner, Great Bear Recreational Park is gearing up.
The park made snow for 14 hours Sunday night and managers said they are planning on doing the same Monday night.
Managers said the cold temperatures are helping them give the 20 acres of ski hills a nice white look.
"The cooler it is, the better it is. The more water I can put up in the air then. We like to see temperatures down in the teens, if we get down to single digits then we can really make some snow,” said Dan Grider, General Manager of Great Bear Recreational Park.
Over a season the park uses 13 to 15 million gallons of water to make snow.
If it does stay cold, managers said Great Bear could open early. However, for right now, the target date is December 1.
