Around 11 p.m. Tuesday a Sioux Falls man received minor injuries after losing control of his car at 6th and Dakota.
According to Sioux Falls Police 28-year-old Steven Clancey was driving north bound on Dakota Avenue when he lost control of his car. Witnesses told police they believe he was driving around 60 miles per hour.
Police say the car Clancey was driving ran over two parking meters and then hit a light pole. He was later extricated out because the car doors were stuck.
Clancey was arrested on numerous charges including reckless driving, no insurance, no seatbelt, and obstructing law enforcement.
Police say alcohol was not a factor.
