Earlier this week the SDSU Jacks put the USD game behind them and started focusing on Eastern Illinois for when the Panthers come to Brookings on Saturday.
Practicing throughout the week and with the holiday week in full swing, coach says it's a good thing that there are no distractions and obviously there is no class so they can focus solely on the game...
"It's a blessing. It's a blessing because Wednesday, Thursday, Friday we don't have school. We're retaining the whole football team, we're keeping everybody in town for scout teams and stuff. So we'll be able to practice because on those three days we'll be able to practice in daylight not have to move things around and go over on the intramural fields," said Head Coach John Stiegelmeier.
The Panthers (7-4) and Jacks (8-3) will kickoff at 2:00 p.m. at Coughlin-Alumni Stadium in Brookings on Saturday.
