The Sioux Falls Skyforce has a new face from last year. Almost all new faces in fact, bringing in new guys to help turn around from a dreadful season in 2011-2012.
New head coach Joel Abelson has brought in some key guys to help turn this program around, looking for wins off the bat, he certainly knows it could take time, but he and the team expect results.
"We have a good mix. We have some veterans who really are professionals, who know how to play and some young guys who are learning. The young guys, there is always a learning curve. Unless they are real special, they come and they don't really know how to be a pro, and we've got some guys here that have been through the fire," said Abelson.
"As long as we get stops, as long as we play defense, we'll be a lot of fun to watch. We got some guys in here that can really play. I'm looking forward to it. I really think we have a lot of potential and I really think we are going to put a lot of wins on the board," said Andrew Goudelock.
The Skyforce (3-0) are back in action this Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Tulsa, Oklahoma taking on the Tulsa 66ers.
