With Coyotes Women's Coach Amy Williams getting her 101st win last Thursday night, that put the Lady Yotes at 4-5 on a very young season. Now sitting at 4-6 with the loss on Sunday, the season doesn't get any easier from here on out.
Not opening up Summit League play until the end of the December, Williams still knows that the league will be tough for the team in her first year, but looks to get things done.
"Well what I feel like is that the Summit League from top to bottom could be as competitive as it's been and have as much parody as it's ever had. There's always been those special teams that have kind of rose to the top of that league, but I feel like UMKC, Kansas City has really raised the bar and I.U.P.U.I and with Omaha coming in and just everything is becoming more and more competitive," said Williams.
The Lady Yotes next game is Saturday when they host Peru State down in Vermillion. Tip off is set for 5:00 p.m.
