Man Arrested In Road Rage Incident

We’re learning more about the road rage incident that happened early Saturday morning in Sioux Falls. 

Police say it happened at around 2 a.m. near West 12th Street and South La Mesa Drive.

They say 33-year-old Jessie Quarve and 29-year-old Matthew Leiss were swerving at each other’s vehicles for several blocks. One vehicle pulled in front of the other and slammed on the brakes, causing the rear vehicle to rear end it.
 
Police say a gunshot from the rear vehicle went through the windshield and lodged into the back of the front vehicle. No one was injured.

Police say Quarve was charged with drunken driving, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm while intoxicated. Leiss was arrested for reckless driving.
