Skyforce Win in Austin

Austin,TX December 22, 2012 - The Austin Toros fall to the Sioux Falls Skyforce 117- 106 Saturday night at Cedar Park Center. Despite a hot start, it wasn’t enough to contain the Skyforce. Troy Hudson led the Skyforce with 26 points, nine assists.

Sioux Falls (7-3) ended the game with five players scoring in double figures. Hudson (26 points and nine assists), Andrew Goudelock 22 points, six assists, Demetris Nichols 17 points, six rebound  and Mark Tyndale scoring 16 points.  Jarvis Varnado recorded a double-double on the night with 12 points, 16 rebounds.

Toros’ Big Man Tyler Wilkerson punched in another double-double for the night with 18 points, 15 rebounds. Justin Dentmon led Austin in scoring with 28 points, six rebounds. Rick Jackson scored 14 points, nine rebounds and Spurs assignee Cory Joseph added 21 points, nine assists.

The Toros (6-5) travel next week to face the Canton Charge on Wednesday Dec. 26 at 6 pm. in Canton, Ohio at the Canton Memorial Civic Center.  Austin returns home Sunday, Dec. 30 to take on the Texas Legends at 3 pm at Cedar Park Center for their annual Youth Sports Game.
