	Heroes Behind The Badges Competition Continues by KDLT News December 31, 2012 5:28 PM Sioux Falls Fire Rescue and the Sioux Falls Police Department continue to battle to see who can give the most blood. As of earlier Monday the Sioux Falls Fire rescue is in the lead, with about 215 units of blood donated. The Sioux Falls Police have given about 190 units of blood. While some people can be squeamish when it comes to needles, officials at the community blood bank say giving blood is no big deal. The Heroes Behind the Badges event ends Friday.
