Johnson Named Biotech Association Exec. Director

Joni Johnson has been named executive director of the South Dakota Biotechnology Association.
Johnson most recently served as administrator of Poet's political action committee.
Johnson grew the PAC's membership from 100 to 700 members in less than three years, and she says she feels that she can help grow the biotech association in a similar way.
She says she'll be reaching out to many businesses and other organizations that could benefit from becoming association members. She also plans to provide members with more opportunities to network and additional communication on industry issues and developments.
