Police Looking for Rape Suspect

Police are asking for the publics assistance in finding a man accused of 1st degree rape and possession of child pornography.

Obadiah David Loyira, 19, is a black male, 170 lbs who is the suspect in the rape of a 12 year old. The incident occurred on January 18th in Harrisburg.

If you have any information on the location of the suspect, police encourage you to contact Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office at 605-367-4300, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office 605-764-5651 or Crime Stoppers. Police believe that Mr. Loyira is still in the Sioux Falls area. Police ask that you do not try to aprehend Loyira.
