4 Arrested On Meth Charges

Police say four people have been arrested in connection with an abandoned meth lab.
Thursday afternoon at around 3:30 Sioux Falls Police responded to a call at East 12th Street and South Van Eps Avenue in Sioux Falls in reference to an abandoned meth lab.
After watching local news reports on previous meth lab busts, employees at a nearby business noticed items consistent with the “one pot” method of making meth on the side of Van Eps Avenue. A lab team responded and dismantled the lab.
The investigation lead to a search warrant at a nearby residence on East 12th Street where officers discovered small amounts of meth and residue in the house.
Police arrested Tyler Hausten for possession of a controlled substance, possession of less than two ounces of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Abigail Shelton, who was wanted as a walk away from the Minnehaha County Jail was charged with possession of a controlled substance being meth, possession of less than two ounces of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jonathon Julson was arrested for possession of less than two ounces of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Amber Counterman was arrested for possession of less than two ounces of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
