MITCHELL, S.D. -- The last time the Kimball/White Lake WildKats played the James Valley Christian Vikings they were blown out by nearly 30 points.
They promise that the rematch in the Region 5B Championship game will be a different story.
"We didn't play how we should have and this time, go around, we're a lot more confident going into the game and we're going to give them a run for their money. It's going to be a good game." WildKat Senior Jesse Taylor says.
James Valley Christian defeated Kimball White/Lake 84-56 on January 4th and are 20-2 this season.
The WildKats have already won a "revenge" game. After losing their regular season finale to Corsica-Stickney 51-48 in their regular season finale, Kimball/White Lake won the rematch in the District 10B title game 67-56 on Saturday.
"We gotta contain (Adam) Hofer because he's a very good player and we gotta get the post game going. Willie Norwood's been doing good lately working in the post for us so we gotta feed him the ball and kinda stop their big game down low." WildKat Senior Jacob Kirsch says.
Kimball/White Lake and James Valley Christian tip off at 6:30 on Tuesday from the Corn Palace in Mitchell.
