The largest arts weekend in Sioux Falls is less than two months away.
On Tuesday, Sculpture Walk Director, Jim Clark, gave a presentation to the Sioux Falls City Council, which showcased dozens of sculptures making their way to Sioux Falls this spring.
The Washington Pavilion and the Sculpture Walk have teamed up this year to provide a weekend of art, sculpture exposition and sale, along with an art auction.
People also have the opportunity to vote on their favorite sculpture.
"Every year the city purchases the peoples' choice sculpture for $15,000.00. Often times the sculptures are valued much higher than that but the artists agree to sell them for that, to the city," said Clark
The arts event is free to the public and kicks off May 4th.
