Wednesday was the sixth month anniversary of Sioux Falls banning texting while driving.
Although only 11 tickets have been written, police say the ban is still a success.
Two of those tickets were from people that caused accidents because of texting.
Police say people are complying with the law.
A texting ticket in Sioux Falls is $95.
It is considered a secondary offense, so you would need to get pulled over for something else before they would ticket you.
