Twins Win in Thrilling Fashion

Bookmark and Share

The Twins bats were lifeless through 7 innings at Target Field Wednesday. But pinch hitter Wilkin Ramirez got them on the board in the 8th narrowing the gap with a double to 2-1. And Eduardo Escobar's 2-run double in the 9th was the game-winner. Brian Dozier raced all the way around from first with the game winner when the Tiger outfielders allowed the deep fly to drop on the warning track. Kevin Correa pitched 7 strong innings in his Twins debut, giving up a pair of RBI singles to Miguel Cabrera.
