USD Football Scrimmages In Sioux Falls

Bookmark and Share

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. --  There's an old saying that good seasons go to quickly, but tough seasons last too long.

After going one-and-ten last season the Coyote football team is certainly eager start anew.

USD came up to Sioux Falls today for a scrimmage at the USF Football Complex.

Despite the record, the Yotes don't feel like they're too far away from a turnaround.  USD had only four games at home last year and lost five games by seven points or less.  And it's clear the Coyotes are ready to turn the page.

"I was ready to go like right after because I was so disappointed in the way it happened and the way it ended.  So I was ready to get right back and get better at it."  Junior RB Jasper Sanders says.

"They were really eager.  They've worked really hard in the offseason.  They came over her and got in the Dome at 6 AM every morning and tore up the weight room.  Our first five or six practices have been full of life and full of enthusiasm."  Head Coach Joe Glenn Says.
