Herd to Face Fargo in Next Round

Sioux Falls, SD—The Sioux Falls Stampede will face the Fargo Force in the Western Conference Finals starting this Friday in Fargo. The series will be best-of-five. The Force defeated the Waterloo Black Hawks, 4-3 in overtime Wednesday night in Game 5 of their series to advance.

 

The Stampede are the #1 seed while the Force are the #2 seed, but Sioux Falls will start the series on the road because the circus is at the Sioux Falls Arena this weekend. Fargo will host Game 2 on Saturday before the series shifts to Sioux Falls for Game 3 next Thursday, May 2nd at the Sioux Falls Arena. Should there be a Game 4 that will be played in Sioux Falls on Sunday, May 5th while a Game 5 would be played on Wednesday, May 8th at the Sioux Falls Arena.

 

Sioux Falls went 5-2-1 against Force this season. The last time these two teams met in the playoff was in 2010 when the Force swept the Stampede in three games in the Western Conference Semi-Finals.

Game 5: Wednesday, May 8 @ Sioux Falls: 7:05 PM
