Moore Sets Canaries Franchise Strikeout Record

EL PASO, TX --  In a road trip to forget, Sioux Falls Canaries pitcher Ben Moore made history.  His fourth inning strikeout of El Paso's Brian Joynt set a new Canaries franchise record for punchouts.  It was Moore's 521st strikeout with the Birds, suprassing Rich Hyde's previous record.

Moore finished with seven strikeouts over seven innings of worked and picked up the win, leading the Canaries to a 7-3 win that snapped their seven game losing streak.
