Winner/Colome & Lesterville Escape, Dells Dominates

Bookmark and Share

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.  --  The second day of the South Dakota Class B State Amateur Baseball Tournament featured several close games and rain.

In the early session, an 8th inning wild pitch brought home the winning run in Lesterville's 4-3 win over Parkston.  A 9th inning error would be the difference in Winner/Colome's 2-1 win over Milbank.

Evening games were delayed by about an hour and a half due to heavy rains in the Sioux Falls area.  Dell Rapids PBR had no problem with Martin when play resumed, winning 11-0.
