The Coyote to watch in 2013 is linebacker Tyler Starr. A man who has a tendency to leave Qbs on their back.
Despite his team struggling to get many tallies in the win column last year, he's hoping 2013 brings better things.
"We're going to be more prepared and a better team all around and we're going to take it one game game at a time, and it starts with UC Davis Aug 31st." Starr says.
Coming into his senior season, Starr says he's going to give this season all he's got.
"It's an honor to play with the guys that I have on my team like I said we're all brothers and family is our motto this year these are the group of guys I spend the majority of my days with since I've been here. And to see it all coming, you know, slowly to my senior season, to an end it makes you want to give that much more effort in every every play and every rep to let them play for me as well as me play for them." Starr says.
And if he performs as well as he would like, his coach wouldn't be surprised if there is more football for Starr to play.
"There's no doubt he has the tools to play at the next level but he's got to have a great year this year. He knows that and he's worked himself out to that point. USD Head Coach Joe Glenn says.
A tough season in 2012 lights a fire under Starr and the rest of the Coyotes.
"Win together lose together no matter what as long as you are trying to do the best you can do nothing negative will come out of it." Starr says.
