Sioux Falls Catholic Schools Back In Session

Bookmark and Share

It's back to school for some students in Sioux Falls Thursday. The Sioux Falls Catholic Schools opened their doors today for the first day of school.

Pre-schoolers through 6 grade started the beginning of the new school year at St. Mary Catholic School Thursday morning.

The Staff says the first day is an exciting time to meet new students and teachers for a brand new school year.

"People couldn't get in the building fast enough, it was joyful and that's something we want to retain all through the year," said  principal Courtney Tielke.

There are about 400 students at Saint Mary Catholic School this year, which is up about twenty students from last year.
