A South Dakota couple is behind bars after police say they tried to collect on money they were owed, at the wrong house.
At around 7:00 Thursday evening a woman and her mother heard banging at their door, and a man yelling "you owe me money". The man was also swinging a pipe and used it to break the windows and dent a vehicle sitting in the driveway.
The man then got into a truck with his wife and they drove off. Police tried to pull them over, but the wife refused to stop. Instead, she slowly drove to their home where they were arrested.
Police say 28-year-old Kimberly VanAlsburg blew a .3, almost four times the legal limit. She was charged with her second DWI, and eluding police.
Her husband 29-year-old Cody VanLoh was charged with simple assault and felony intentional damage to property.
The woman who lived at the house and had her car smashed, says she didn't recognize the couple.
