More snow is on the way for parts of the Black Hills in western South Dakota, as crews continue working to restore power to people who lost electricity during a blizzard earlier this month.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the central and northern Black Hills Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning. Forecasters say as much as a foot of snow is possible in some areas.
The storm earlier this month dumped up to 4 feet of snow in some areas, cutting power to about 30,000 people in the region. Black Hills Power says it still has about 425 customers out, and West River Electric Association says it has about 450 customers still out.
