Jacks Save Season, Hubert Player Of The Week

Bookmark and Share

BROOKINGS, S.D. --  The SDSU football team would like to still be playing in December when hoops season is in full swing.

If that's going to happen the Jacks saved their season yesterday.

SDSU went back and forth with Northern Iowa at Coughlin Alumni Stadium.  The game went to double overtime where Austin Sumner's third touchdown pass to Brandon Hubert was the difference.

Hubert finished with 9 catches, 118 yards and two touchdowns despite playing with an injured arm.  For his effort Hubert was named Offensive Player Of The Week by the Missouri Valley Football Conference today.
