DWU sweeps Dakota State at Corn Palace

The DWU men and women defended their home court Wednesday night sweeping Dakota State in a college basketball doubleheader. Katie Johnson with 16 and Celeste Beck with 15 points led the way in the 70-59 win for the women. And then Jalen Voss had a huge night as the Tigers upset the 18th-ranked Trojans 85-76. Voss had 33 points and 13 boards while Trae Bergh had 19 for new coach Matt Wilber. Dylan Hale had 24 and Yusuf Vinson 22 pts./8 rebounds as Gary Garner's team lost for the 2nd time in 2013.
