Wolters Adapting Well To NBA

Bookmark and Share

MILWAUKEE, WI --  A year ago at this time there was a pretty good debate about whether South Dakota State's Nate Wolters could play in the NBA.

Looking back it seems kind of silly, because Nate looks like a natural.

The 2nd round draft pick has been pressed into more duty than even he expected with the Milwaukee Bucks in his rookie season.

Wolters has played in 20 games, starting seven of them.

He's not counted on to carry the offense as he did for the Jacks, but Nate is still averaging seven points a game and scored a career high 18 last week against San Antonio.

Wolters' primary role is as facilitator, and he's thriving in that role with a team leading 82 assists.
