Over 100 Rounds Fired From Within Home In Kimball Standoff
AG Jackley says law enforcement fired less than a dozen rounds in response
More than 100 rounds were fired from within the Kimball home that was the scene of a standoff last week.
Attorney General Marty Jackley says law enforcement fired less than a dozen rounds in response. He says the state has concluded a crime scene reconstruction and has turned over the home to the family of the men charged in the one-day standoff.
Prosecutors have charged 42-year-old Donald London with attempted murder and aggravated assault of an officer. His father, 66-year-old Michael London, of Chamberlain, was charged with two counts of aiding and abetting aggravated assault. Each count carries a maximum punishment of 25 years in prison.30684904
Authorities say the standoff began when the men allegedly threatened officers. A trooper was shot in the incident.
It’s unclear whether the men have a lawyer.
