Big Brothers Big Sisters In Need Of Mentors
Volunteers needed to help give back to at-risk youth
We often take our older brothers and sisters for granted, but it turns out having sibling or older mentor can make a big difference.
That’s why Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sioux Empire is looking for volunteers to help give back to at-risk youth and all it takes is four hours each month.
On Friday morning, Program Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters, Marsha Jaros stopped by the KDLT Orange Couch to tell us more about how you can help make a difference.
Currently there are 40 boys on a waiting list to be matched with a Big Brother and the list keeps getting longer. The organization is in desperate need of male mentors.
The requirements include a minimum of 4 hours per month with a 1 year commitment.
