From warm Turkey Chili to the classic chicken Noodle, ZOUP! knows their soup!
The country’s leading soup concept restaurant is helping stir up excitement for National Soup Month this January by raising money to fight childhood hunger.
Zoup! Restaurants across the country are attempting to raise $50,000 to support No Kid Hunger, a campaign that connects kids in need with healthy and affordable meals.
On Thursday morning, Sioux Falls ZOUP! Manager Megan Schuver stopped by the KDLT Orange Couch to tell us more about the fundraiser and how you can help give back to those in need.
Throughout the month of January, customers who give a $2 or more donation towards Share Our Strength’s “No Kid Hungry” campaign at any of the Zoup! locations in the U.S. will receive a complimentary 8 oz. side of soup on their next visit.
The company’s goal is to raise $50,000 for “No Kid Hungry” which connects kids in need with nutritious food and affordable meals. For each $2 donation, No Kid Hungry can provide 20 meals to hungry children.
Also during January’s National Soup Month, Zoup! will introduce two new soups at all locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Chipotle Shrimp Bisque, a creamy tomato soup with shrimp, peppers and vegetables blended to a smooth puree, will be available beginning the week of Jan. 12th. For adventurous diners, Rattlesnake Stew, a hearty stew made with rabbit and rattlesnake sausage, peppers, brown rice and spices, will debut the week of Jan. 19th. Both soups will be part of Zoup!’s hundreds of award-winning soup recipes offered in its daily 12 rotating varieties.
