Event Location:
Great Plains Zoo and Delbridge Museum of Natural History

Event Description:
The Great Room of the Delbridge Museum of Natural History has been transformed into a jungle where 19 lifelike dinosaurs “roar” to life and swish their tails. Your family or school group will watch the Apatosaurus family grazing, see the Maiasaura watching over her nest, and catch the ferocious Albertosaurus on the hunt. Not only does this exhibit educate about dinosaurs, it also makes connections to animals that you see at the Zoo. You will learn about the predator-prey relationship between the Deinonychus and Tenontosaurus, and how it is similar to that of the Red-Tailed Hawk and the Cottontail Rabbit. Dino-Roars! is open daily February 3 through May 3, 2015. Admission is $3 per person, plus Zoo admission. A Dino Membership, which allows unlimited Dino-Roars! visits, is available for current Zoo members at $24.00 plus tax. A Dino Plus Membership is available for non-members at $54.00 plus tax, includes unlimited Dino-Roars! visits and general Zoo membership until May 3, 2015.
